We would like to announce a new social service program for Erie County Residents. As you know, over the course of the pandemic, many people have lost their jobs, income, and other types of support, while many businesses have lost revenue. Some of those affected have never needed to access financial assistance resources. They may need help understanding their options and completing the applications necessary for receiving assistance for themselves, their families or their business.
The Union City Family Support Center now has an Erie Community Foundation grant-funded program called “COVID Relief Connection” which intends to help fill this need.
My name is Michelle Knight and I am the community support specialist who will be available 20 hours per week to help individuals, families, and micro-businesses to access resources from federal, state, county, and local programs.
